Description
A UNIQUE writing instrument like you’ve never seen before, perfect for easy and expressive writing or drawing.
The modern barrel shape and translucent grip end with a special tip.
In conventional rollers the metal ball is held in a metal "sleeve", and the ink flows over the ball’s edges.
In the AIR roller the ball is held in a "plastic acetate" sleeve that provides less friction with the paper surface at any writing angle while allowing the ball to rotate.
When the roller is pressed on paper the ink can flow freely, producing thick ink lines similar to a fountain pen; when the pressure is light, ink flows only on the ball’s edges.
With Uni-ball AIR, varying the pressing force yields lines of different thicknesses.
It uses Uni Super Ink, permanent, water‑resistant and fade‑resistant.
The line thickness ranges between 0.35‑0.55 mm, and with increased pressure it can reach up to 1 mm.
